I’m a retired teacher. I taught art and English in Brooklyn, New York and studied painting and drawing at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I’ve exhibited in group shows at the Katzenstein Gallery, Maryland Art Place and in several galleries with Maryland Art League. I do pencil portraits of people and pets. I especially love drawing people because the process is like a communion to me. I capture the spirit of the person. Everyone is beautiful.

I work on 11 x 14" acid free paper, which is standard size for matting and framing. The drawing can be 8 x 10, 9 x 12 or 11 x 14 inches. I can enlarge a small photograph as long as the features are clear. A drawing from life or photo costs $100. Gift cards are available.
